however, there should be a way to find out what the items do before you purchase, even if I have to refer to the compendium. Also, I seem to get stuck ALL THE TIME on invisible barriers against the walls. This is highly frustrating during critical moments. I do enjoy the level of difficulty, by the way, which only adds to the frustration when the game randomly crashes.

cool
Pretty fun and very challenging. Similar to binding of Isaac. Don't buy it if you hate starting over. it will force you to get good by being completely unforgiving. a little buggy but overall solid game.

A lot of fun, with a dose of frustration.
Plays a lot like the binding of Isaac with some twists and a little less polish. Very good value for the sale price of $2.50. You do get stuck on some objects and walls sometimes which can create a lot of frustration but it's not often enough to detract from enjoyable aspects.

Buggy, But Fun
As a Rogue-like, Feral Fury is one of the more entertaining of its ilk despite its glitches and love for permadeath. The endlessly regenerating maps, drones, scrolls and enemy types add unique chances to every run, though most of the abilities can prove useless like the Rearm ability which literally sends the player back to the Game Hud! The game does feel a little unfinished with a lacking Save & Quit option or Compendium access via the Pause Screen and how the player character can get stuck between cover and a bottomless pit.
Despite all this chaff, though, the game is genuinely magnetic: it has an original plot and very good world-building, a fantastic soundtrack, good top-down shooter combat with a lot of blood (always a plus) and the useful items and abilities are unforgetable. While it's no Robotica, Feral Fury is a fun albeit buggy game that, with a bit of tolerance I can earnestly recommend.

very rewarding finish
super fun challenging experience. your playthrough really relies a lot on the rng of your drops BUT you really cant blame anyone but yourself when you die. the random world gen, perma death, and simple environmental textures make replaying surpisingly not unbearable. i like playing this game when i'm waiting for some friends to get online or to just listen to music and play because the game isnt story oriented
