Return to the pixel‑art world of FINAL FANTASY, evolved from its classic roots. Travel with companions bound by fate and call on Visions to aid you in battle to uncover the truth behind a force that threatens to bring everything to ruin.
This game was worth the (seemingly forever) wait! Won't let me rate the DDE even though that's what I bought, but this game is fantastic! It's as if Octopath Traveler and the FF series were merged together; 2D graphics base that run incredibly smooth but the Vision Ultimate attacks - you'll know them when you see them - are breathtaking. No spoilers, I'm about 3 hours in and it just keeps getting better. If you didn't get to pre-order, it is a MUST-HAVE for any diehard FF fan. They went to incredible lengths implementing the lore while keeping the soul of all FF games what they always are at their heart: a masterfully crafted turn-based RPG that gets to do something new this time, and that's implementing lore from the games that came before that we all know and love. The best way to describe it is to experience it for yourself. It's SO worth it!

Memories of flooting Airships...
Oh and Chocobos still love soft pets behind the ears. 😍😍😍
I have been playing FF since it came out on the NES. I bought a SNES just becaue I saw FFII (FFIV) was coming out for it, got FFIII (FFVI) when it came out, and have basically been steadfast with all FF games up to VII with a passion. I played a bunch of the mobile gatcha games. If you miss FFBE, then you want this game. There is just so much to do, it's crazy, and the music is amazing. SE, you should do Record Keeper next! I don't usually pre-order games. This one, I did, and I am not disappointed.

Final Octopath Fantasy Traveler Resonance!!!!
It's like a Final Fantasy with Octopath style visuals and awesome cut scenes/cinematics.
Music is top shelf, but that should go without saying.
