Fission Superstar X

Very fun, im gettig that FTL/Binding of Issac vibe in terms of replayability. For $15 this game is an easy buy

*Updated at end* This gets quite GOOD & payoff for your time kicks in after spending enough time. Now first playing will seem impossible to ever get far in the solar system but gradually you will be going further & further. From menus to gameplay, comic book look, nice looking one. More impressive playing than in YouTube vids. Music is good. No voice narrations nor vocal reactions; makes sense for a comic style. No ability to remap buttons, esp. lock-on button that kills my thumb (stick press). Some things not told nor explained (annoying) but normal for this type? Wish going from the end of a run to a new run was quicker. Some TINY TEXT in places. While a few things annoy, you get sucked in after some time & get the hang of it. Updated: 3 stars now from 5. I had spent more days & hours on this than any other Xbox game and still since last patch some months ago can't even get 1/4 of a way into a run as before(tried many times). Before I was nearly good enough to complete a run.

Very fun wave shooter where you customize your crew and weaponry. Weirdness along the way reminds me of earthworm jim. Just fighting off waves of enemies may sound easy but its more difficult than it looks and will require practice; not feasible to be done in one sitting. Like me If you are not fan of the sega genesis era MIDI orchestration it start to be grating

A real treasure,u grind and are at least momentarely rewarded.

Hilarious! This game wonderful. 😺
