Flashback

This is a perfectly adequate port. Those complaining about poor controls either didn't play the original, or forgot what it was like. It plays exactly as the Mega Drive / Genesis version from 1993. The addition of LB and RT for the gun use is not to my taste, but those can be ignored, as the face buttons function like the original. Only 4/5 stars because there's very little added. Basically, just a port to modern hardware. A classic master piece from the 16-bit era. Worth every penny they're asking. On sale, it's even better!

While not perfect per se, its still one of the greatest games of all time. There is a bit of missed potential in regards to control schemes and audio, but the overall experience is still pure Flashback. Highly recommended!

This game freezes a lot. It is a good trip down memory lane..... Just does not hold up. Honestly if you can get it under 5 bucks, and/or have spare credits. DO NOT PAY FULL PRICE.

because SEGAAAAA didn't make the game 😯

The rewind feature and scan lines are nice but since flashback has been released on almost every console ever made, it needed more bonus content. To go with the "modern version" it could have used the 3D cutscenes from the Windows 95 version. A digital version of the comic book. Having all the other Flashback games as unlockables. Like the sequel Fade to Black from the Playstation 1 and PC. A finished or close to finished version of the unreleased Flashback Legends for Gameboy Advance. And even Flashback HD for Xbox 360. If there is someway to add all these extras to this version of Flashback then it would be a 5 star rating and a true 25th anniversary celebration. It would be much appreciated if this could be done somehow.
