FOUNTAINS

Big map. Plenty of varied bosses and enemies. Secrets. Cryptic NPC quests. Rings that let you use different abilities, or you can use tools in those slots - such as a fishing rod or grapple hook. Story is good, but a bit spaced out, as oppsed to other soulslikes. Having a sort of prophecy-based story, like Grime or Blasphemous. I am maybe halfway through, but am impressed and it is polished. Haven't had a single bug. DISCLAIMER to achievement hunters: Some achievements for speedrunning and never dying, like Hollow Knight; also missable achievements. I think there is one guide online for this game. Overall, a solid soulslike experience. I'd say this game is like a ~9/10 for an indie game. ***May update this review when finished***

First impressions, feels great to play. Obviously a ton of thought and time went into the world design and layout. It feels tested, like the people who made it also played the sht out of it. I'll update once i've got enough hours in to give a properly responsible review of the game more broadly, but it feels like a labor of love from people who know what they're doing, and it's hard to imagine that going wrong. There's a LOT hidden in the world. Makes exploration super gratifying.
