A good but overlooked game.
Judgment is basically a glorifide Gears 3 DLC with a slight twist. It's a side story told in a series of flashbacks. You get to choose th difficulty of various encounters as they arise, and this changes the story in the narrative cut scenes. The game plays just like Gears 3 because it's built from Gears 3, and that's not a bad thing.
Judgment came out not too long after Gears 3 and was overshadowed by the masterpiece that its predicessor was. At the time, the Gears saga had just concluded and many people viewed this side story as a quick cash grab and ignored it. Judgment is a very good game that suffered from poor timing of its release.

Actually a good game.
People slept on gears Judgement. Looking at it in 2020, 2021, and 2022 this game has more lovable characters than gears 5. Only reasons i didnt like it was because of the call of duty mechanic. Besides everything else this game deserves more love.

Underappreciated
I understand the hate. Judgement Day tried to have more mainstream controls. Y to swap weapons, RB for grenades, X to reload, etc... But past that, it had a great campaign and innovative multiplayer. 9/10
