Ghost 1.0

Following largely the same format as Unepic, the developer delivers another solid metroidvania title. Although it's a little rough around the edges, there's nothing I can really hold against it, and it's a steal at twice the price.

awesome game. plenty of upgrades. takes me back....

Phenominal gameplay at a hysterically low price Ghost 1.0 is the best metroidvania I have played at a 5th the cost. If you are a fan of the genre you owe yourself a chance to experience this gem.

Just like the headline suggests, this game is best described as a cross between the two with some humor thrown in. It starts a bit slow but quickly picks up both in interest and challenge. There are tons of power ups and easter eggs to be found. There's a huge variety of enemies and the gameplay mechanics are constantly changing as you acquire new abilities. The cutscenes and voice overs are usually interesting and comical. I definitely recommend giving this game a shot. It's well worth the price of admission.

Title says it all. Bought this on sale but 100% worth full price. Update: I have never liked a game more AFTER beating it but I love this game and the new game + system is one I wish EVERY game had. Saying Ghost 1.0 is "Metroid-vania" does a disservice to how truly great it is. Find those souls and get upgraded power suits all with different abilities and unique looks. Upgrade drones and weapons even further with each play through. I enjoyed this game far more than I ever did metroid and I have already played through 3 times!! I can't wait for the sequel!!!!!
