Grizzland

A very well-made Atari-esque, sidescrolling, adventure platformer with challenging gameplay, nice animations, background graphics, and unique, in-game creatures, NPCs, and secrets. I've been gaming since the Atari 2600, and would love to see more high-caliber games in this style (like an RPG). When was the last time you played a good game that was only 140MB and for $5 or less? I'll bet it's been a while.

May have look of 80's DOS game but playing reminds me of original Gameboy game, a good one but smoother & quicker movement than I remember most being. Gameplay seems to have been focus & if that's what truly matters, well, don't judge how it plays on how it looks it would play. It's taken basics of what makes a good metroidvania & peppered it w/fun surprises. If gameplay is pretty much all that matters to you & even if nearly burned out now by this gameplay style, it may surprise you to play. Secrets, bosses, exploration, gaining abilities, humor, etc. await. See review by Defunct Games, may feel you got to try this. It did it for me & happy I gave it a chance. I'm almost sick of metroidvania games but this one seems to have put graphics on the back burner to give some enjoyable gameplay that sets it a bit apart from so many others of this genre coming out. It's good & not just a 'for the price' sort of way. Does need more midi tunes & B to be button for back button in menus.

Old skool atari looking game

If u like atari get this

Atari 2600/7600 style side scroller thats plays alot like metroid/vainia type games. Screen color is a black, grey, & white contrast. Achievements Easy to harder achievements. Very simple platformer. Not everyone will like this. Jump after attack is delayed.
