Guard Duty

The less seen before, the more enjoyable. Starts w/cartoon cutscene of guy & alien/monster holding a dead body, so this isn't going to be only a medieval adventure. Easy to tell this was made for adults to enjoy for a few reasons. Game is voice acted, gives good laughs, not overly complex, has cool looking animation & low price. This is what got me to purchase even though this style, which is like retro Sierra style, isn't my thing nor most any point & click type but there's been a few exceptions, this being one. Gameplay is like interacting with a hilarious cartoon. Game animations are well done but simple though in quite a nice looking way. Things spoken can be crude but quite funny. *Game has option for voice w/text or text only (no way to have only voice). 3 sliders but one unlabeled & can't be used (sensitivity?; would like that). 2 others for voice/audio. Would be nice to have a button that opens bag w/out need to click it. Patch for these few things soon, I hope.

A very funny and well done point and click adventure in the medieval times and the year 2077. Look for easter eggs, movie and video game nods. About a couple of hours long and all achievements are story driven except one immiscible close to the beginning so achievement hunters easy 1000G in a couple hrs or so. Recommend if you like point n clicks and a good story. Love the Blade Runner nods.

The story and gameplay are good. I took off stars because there is no way to turn off the music. I almost always turn off music in the games I play. Also when clicking the save button, the same click saves the game and registers as a click on whatever is behind the save button.

This game has some interesting homages to classics over the years. I won't spoil which of these classics are mentioned. Some of the puzzles were a bit tricky with a sort of a looping maze at one point. There is no fast traveling so speedrunners can go cry me a river. 1 tip: You can press X to open up your Infinity Bag (Inventory) as well as close it. 10/10

Not gonna lie I teared up at the end....good point and click with just the right amount of gameplay. Would really like to see another!!!
