Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX

I've beaten every Mega Man X, Mega Man Zero, and Mega Man ZX game, but I can't even clear a single stage in this game. I can't remember the last time I felt so helplessly inept. Just another reminder that I'm a worthless loser.

This game is amazing we need more gunvolt please! 🙏 no complaints here even got the dlc because I definitely enjoyed this great experience take my money idc the experience was heart warming and felt as if i was a kid again 👍😁

At first I thought it wasn't that good, but it gets better and better the more you play it. It's short, but it's gameplay and art are great.

The story is short and is a spin off of the Azure Striker Gunvolt series, but gameplay is where it shines. The character dashes throughout the levels to mark his enemies, causing all attacks to home in on them. There is a score systems that grants more points for mid air combos, and you reach a score of 1000, your partner begins singing throughout the level as long as you don't get hit too many times (1 time on fearless mode, 3 times on cautious mode, and as long as you don't die on gutless). After the story more levels and harder boss fights unlock.

So I found out about the Gunvolt series after I searched for alternatives to Megaman games (which is one of my favorite series, especially the Zero series). Unfortunately, most of the games are on Ps4/Switch.....except for this one, so I figured I might as well try it out. So here I am writing this review with the hope that more of the dashing, shooting, idol singing, precision movement, engaging story, and Challenge that LAiX provided, can be ported over to Xbox. Great experience overall
