Haimrik

I really liked this game. It has a very interesting innovative concept and a great story. I went ahead and went for all the achievements which wasn't too hard and took 6 to 7 hours for the full 1,000 gamerscore.

I wont knock any stars because i applaud the creation. Love the art, felt like old school MAD. But, i thought it was going to be more of a word game but really its more of a on rails QTE game that incorporates the word mini'games. Just a heads up for word game fans.

Beautiful artwork, unique gameplay, & bloody but good bossfights. Haimrik is a unique experience with some cool little puzzles. I wouldn't give the full price for it. But if you can get it on sale as I did, then I would say absolutely pick it up!

I came for gooey red stuff and dark humor. So far the humor isn't much though the scene with the lions and a couple other parts are a bit humorous. The violence, blood & gore so far hasn't been extreme to my taste (some may think otherwise) it's still been enough to be enjoyable. So far I'm finding this a neat & unique experience. I'm not far in yet and I'm seeing there's a little more to check out than expected. Much of what you play (not all, like in town) is in what looks like a story book, narration words included that play a key role in the on screen interaction. So far it's a simple story but the way you engage with it is pretty cool and the red stuff helps to keep it from seeming like purely a childish adventure (along with some other small things like a man puking his guts out). This is a simple experience but a unique one where the red & sometimes grotesque stuff helps to keep things fun and keeps the simple look getting stale. Hopefully more dark humor awaits further in.

I like this game. It's fun and interesting with an unique artstyle. However, this game needs a chapter select. I missed 1 achievement along the way and was forced a new playthrough for the full 1,000G, which took about 5 hours. Looking forward to a sequel.
