Hero Defense

3yrs achv not fixed yet

It put me to sleep the night I bought it. The next day I tried to give it a chance despite the theme, but the tutorial just never ended. The controls were just wrong, bumper use and point and click makes it alien for a TD. Your hero's (towers) will do little anyway for a while, it's just spell management and linear hand holding.

Fun game but too small to be worth $30 or even the current asked $24. A small twist on your typical tower/wave defense, instead of towers/turrets you place heroes. Some RPG elements with character inventories and skill progression, but that feels overall linear. Your control over heroes is limited to movement and upgrades in combat, you do not actually control attacks. Game released with a free trial and I'd recommend anyone interested in this genre try it out. For me , this game is a definite buy at $10, probably $15, maybe $20, but the current price tag is just to much for a game that feels like i should be playing it on my phone.

Has an unobtainable achievement. Controls are a bit difficult, probably due to a bad job porting it to xbox. Hit point bars to enemies float on screen but not above models. Game locks up when upgrading character weapons to rhe max. Game sometimes locks up when interacting with building menus. I would not recommend this game, it feels like a rushed port.

Im having fun with this game. Fairly easy achievements, but this game should be no more than $15. Having said that, not too shabby of a game.
