Hockey Beasts

Gotta be super ai built. The pass and shoot button are both the A button....online multiplayer is prob fake. The stats sheet label "shoots" instead of what it should be...

As soon as I can get past the START screen I will give it more than one star!!! ***UPDATE*** Still can't give it more than one star. This would have been fun on the N64 when I was a kid but in 2026 this is just garbage. This should and could easily have been a Roblox game (and a lot more fun since you could actually play online multiplayer).

Hockey Beasts is an OK game for the pricepoint, it's likeable, but it's pretty barebones. What you see is what you get. No extras. No inviting your Friends. No difficulty levels. No unlockables. Oh, and on Series X the game freezes up by the third game in a row. I had this happen three times straight while trying to get the Tournament Achievement. I decided to wait until the devs hopefully patch.

Extra star added for the ballsy move of releasing on same day as EA NHL27's garbage game. But this also is not the hockey we're looking for. We need 2k to come back to us or someone to provide some real competition to EA. EA is trash.

Way better than any NHL game out there, make a football one next
