Heres what it adds
A 5 stage battle arena (there are others in the base game, but this one scales to ur level, so its good for practicing combat), an outfit (I didnt end up using it, the base game has great outfits), a mount and broom skin (didnt use these either). I got it for $5, it was worth it. For $20, id be upset.

For RPG fans, period
As someone who couldn't care less about the Harry Potter franchise, I initially passed this up without a 2nd thought. My curiosity peaked when I saw my friends list quickly fill with "playing Hogwarts...", and I decided to give it an honest look (reviews, trailers, recommendations etc.). I decided to purchase it, and I couldn't ask for more from an RPG. It is a truly beautiful open-world experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who is an RPG fan. If you judge it soley as an RPG and look past the HP element, then I believe you will enjoy this game tremendously. The landscapes and scenery alone captivate me each time I play, and my lack of experience in the HP world really helped remove any preconceived notions I might have had. The game mechanics are user friendly, as are the battle mechanics. It offers a wide array of puzzles at various difficulty levels. The characters are easy to love, and the story lines and side quests are as intriguing as they are engaging. 5/5
