Hunter's Legacy

Yep, $6.99 is the price of this game and worth those small pennies for some fun. There's quite a bit to do with upgrading your weapons and gear even and quite a big world to go through. The game can be challenging in parts, the achieves could've been better but nothing seems broken in the game and it seems finished too. I'm givng it 4 stars cause I don't see much replay beyond 2 times on the game. Btw...one of the achieves requires no upgrades to any gear so if you start upgrading gear then look at the achieves you'll realize that you just missed out on a big chunk of gamer gold...kinda silly. Oh and the cat is cute and so is the other kitties too!

Good challenge and great jumping mechanics. Upgradable sword&bow play and 4 a little under 7dollers i can't complain. I support and would recommend this game to those that like the metroidvania style gameplay.

Where this game may not be as epic as the Castlevania or Metroid franchises many have come to know and love, it has it's own unique story and rustic charm similar to the first games of both Castlevania and Metroid which both had more than 7 people working on them and larger budgets and were still victims of bugs and glitches, and a feeling of being unbalanced. And, Yes I did say 7 people because thats how many work at Lienzo not all of whom worked on this game. So it pains me to see when my fellow gamers not give a game a chance because of a few minor problems every game has at some point in time that doesn't agree with our misconceived notions of perfection from games in the same genre that have 30 years of experience to back them up and still fall short sometimes compared to the Lienzo teams less than 5 years. So all I'm. saying is give the game a chance, who knows one day we might be saying metroidvaniahunter. And I personally would like to see where they go with this in a sequel.

I keep trying out inexpensive, cartoony platformers in hopes it will be relaxing to enjoy the colors and easy but engaging gameplay. Then I keep discovering, most of these don't seem to be made for that purpose. I watched a child cry playing this game. Yes, real tears. There are some annoyimg aspects such as a section where flying enemies that can move thru walls come from whereever they are supposed to appear and all fly into you in one already challenging area. Or where a room has hot or cold that hurts the character once in it too long and causes the character to repeatedly fall backwards even mid jump making a short walk and hop thru multiple unavoidable rooms like this near impossible. Wish the developer would play test and fix these types of issues but also understand that will likely never happen. Save your pocket change and save yourself from the frustration of this one.

Got it on sale for 2.09$ , worth that price. I liked it, not to hard. Basic but fun platformer.
