Hyper Void

Fantastic visuals and music. Controls simple and responsive. It is a well done shooter, however mechanically, nothing innovative. I'm not sure why, but spelling and grammar errors in a game bother me and there a few. Thats not why I knocked off a star however. That was due to the games brutal difficulty at the halfway point, it becomes punishing, almost sadistic. These barrier things start at level 14 and the only way I was able to complete these levels were memorization as there is no time for reaction alone. So you die, many, many times getting it right. Game recycles bosses three sometimes four times as well. Despite this, I still enjoyed the game. Finished first playthru in one sitting, but each level has a hyper mode and a secret area to find, which I have left to do. All in all solid game.

Simple , fun, controls great
