Hyperdrive Massacre

seriously? no online play? rubbish controls. waste of a retro synthwave experience. why did i waste 6 bucks?

Luckily, I paid only $2 for this game on sale. There's a variety of game modes to choose from, however, each is crippled by broken, unintuitive controls. Unfortunate, really. Propulsion should've been automatic with the RS, instead of requiring RT to be held down as well. At least achievements are obtained fairly easily.

Take ideas from some of the most simplistic games in history, mash them together with horrible art and some of the worst controls I've ever experienced. What do you get? This heaping pile of space junk. Achievement hunters be warned!! There is at least one very grindy (250 hour) achievement in here.

for the price, it's a quirky fun couch shooter. it reminds me of the old atari game Combat, but set in a punk rock 80's setting.
