Incantation

Honestly this game got me with a few jumps. It's story has got me hooked. Just wish the game was longer. Easy gamerscore.

Wish it was longer was not too short just longer cause i loved it story could be more detailed for the ending

A mother searching for her daughter receives a glimmer of hope in the form of a letter of where her daughter might be; a remote mountain village. Only there's something off and sinister about this village and getting into the thick of it is the only way to find answers. Incantation starts off strong with tense, creepy vibes. Not because it's breaking new ground in horror but because of the anticipation it's building up with the player as they look around for items and notes in an environment that isn't safe. There is lots of unsettling things found throughout the game and it all works in its favor. Though after the strong start, it does get a bit mediocre in the middle but comes back up in the end. It is on the shorter side for overall length and the achievements are pretty easy. I recommend multiple manual saves because there isn't a chapter select. Also after finishing the game, check the start menu. A bonus story section is added for the ending. In the end, I enjoyed my time.
