Jettomero: Hero of the Universe

Jettomero is a bit repetitive as your character just clumsily walks around planets and stomps collectables for the most part. The art style is stunning and unique. There are some changes in gameplay like quicktime battles and code deciphering. It's a very easy 1000 Gamerscore so it also has that going for it. I enjoyed playing it but I don't think I will replay after getting the completion.

The postives first: simple story but enjoyable, a great art style that is well maintained, little bugs, and great music. Negatives: a very limited amount of things to do and near the end it becomes repetitave due to its limited side quests and helping abilities. If a game such as this were to have updates or a sequel then one should add in more side activities involving trying to save the humans. Because accidentally hurting the people you are trying to save can be very emotional especially when seeing the reaction Jetteromo gives out. More abilities that seem to bring peace but accidentally cause destruction would also be very appreciated to drive in that reason on why he was abandoned by the human race. So much potential and I want to see it so bad considering on how much I enjoyed this game. Just add in more things to do related to the story to really tug at our heart strings. To see him dessed up like a super hero and fail so hard really gets me and I want to see more.

I got out of this game what I had hoped for, based off what others said about it here: A neat little story that was very touching. It's a very simple game with very basic things to do. It got a smidge boring towards the end. The basic flow of the game is you fly through a wormhole into a solar system, explore the planets till you find a boss, defeat it, which opens up another wormhole so you can do it again. Upon beating the bosses you get a piece of the story that you have to unscramble to read in a sorta mini game. I really liked the story! It's the reason you buy games like this. Like Beyond Eyes (another simple but really cool game), it's more of an experience and work of art than a game. I agree with what someone else posted: They should have fleshed out some more sympathy for Jettomero....though I don't know how they could have done that any more than they already did. If you like simply, easy going games with neat little short but meaningful stories then I recommend this game.

The animations and interactions are imaginative - and by that I mean like a short story Spaceman Spiff homage from Calvin and Hobbes, but without any gnashing of teeth. And it's going to be just as timeless! Although not mindless fun, it's about as close as one can get... Also, if you've got a kid and want him or her to learn all things Xbox, then this one is as safe as they come and a must-have! If you're looking for something to scratch some nagging little Borderlands itch, then, no, this isn't going to do that... As with anything Xbox, to get the most cheesing per buck, place this into your Wish List and then purchase it when it goes on sale. HIGHLY recommend, regardless!

Like the stepdad i never had with one dumb mf robot, four empty Four lokos, cloves, and a moist toilette of Tim Allen's nostril hair.
