Just Cause 4 - Dare Devils of Destruction

This DLC pack contains a new..not really sure if I can call it "Campaign" or not. It's more of a collection of car-themed side events. The characters it contains are fine as far as disembodied car fanatics go, but those characters are all this DLC has to offer in terms of story, which is in keeping with JC4's fairly weak main story. So if that didn't bother you, this shouldn't. While JC3's DLCs were more of the same "Go here and destroy all the things" missions, this one tries to do something different from standard gameplay, which I'd say turned out pretty okay. It has a bunch of vehicle-themed side missions that can be replayed to your heart's content. Which also means that you can enter and immediately exit any to change the time of the game's broken daylight cycle. The permanent unlocks consist of a lot of weaponized vehicles that get upgraded the better you perform on each vehicle's associated mission (in case you thought JC4 didn't have enough vehicles already) Overall, not bad

While I did enjoy the weaponized vehicles and the fun modes the story was poor and their was a little bit of repetition with the missions but overall its okay

I like this. It is very diverse from the game itself but there are its flaws (well atleast with my copy) 1 The collition detection is off. I say this because everytime I am driving to a new targer my car just keeps flying off the map 2 In my opinion it is difficult. In order to unlock other mission to further progess though this DLC you have to get all S rank which I don't like. Me personallly I believe that we should have to atleast achieve a B rank rather then go all the way to the top. I love this DLC but it could use some work. :)

so here's the lowdown on this DLC.. basically you have to go through a series of races to unlock other races but the big problem with this concept is in order to unlock those other races you have to get S rank in every other race on top of that the car handling is atrocious and the weapons that are given half the time barely do anything. and if you're not worrying about that you're worrying about the AI constantly bumping into you and smashing you off the course or smashing you pretty much all over the place so it makes it virtually almost impossible to progress in this DLC unless you have the patience of a saint to sit there and do these races over and over and over. I'm not a big fan of this DLC and I regret buying it

It's a great idea, but the driving is the worst part of the game. I don't know why they would make a DLC that highlighted that.
