Oh my. So the character in the game actually asked me to write a review... In game dialogue, about seven hours in.
The game is clunky. Very clunky. Even with the battle speed turned all the way up, there is still a delay in being able to act for your turn. I just don't like it.
The music is repetitive. It feels like they re-use the same short tracks over and over. They never feel appropriate and fail to create any atmosphere.
I am just not enjoying my time with the game... But they asked, so 🤷♂️.

Fun until I hit game breaking bug
Almost 55 story quests in I landed on the beach at Eastern island for a bounty and my boat got stuck. Suddenly it wasn't registering it as a beach. I couldn't disembark or sail in any direction. A shame. It was a decent game until this happened. Way too far to restart. Uninstalling. I would avoid until patched. You have been warned!!!!!!

Different
They go through the efforts to build this amazing world just to spit in your face by making 75% of it not accessible. Such as a kingdom of super strong crystal warriors that never show up. They exist only to hype you up for a possible sequel. You can beat the game as is but if you dont look up meta builds i would suggest buying the double damage perk. End game bosses have ridiculous high hp and only two units can hit 10k of their 200k+ with crits. 7/10 easy 100% in 12 to 15 hours.
