I was almost dissuaded from buying this bc of all the reviews complaining about the controls. The controls make sense imho bc you have two dif guns. RT for Primary, LT for Heavy (and RB+LT for Wrath shot but thats not what people are complaining about). You can hold either trigger for sustained fire so to me it just feels natural and gives the game a more deliberate feel. Also there are times where you want to aim but not shoot say to time a perf reload atk for example, so always firing when aiming would get in the way. To me this is akin to saying COD would be better if your gun automatically fired any time you ADS, youd hate that. If youre on the fence, this game is top notch. Even the people who dont like the controls say its good. Ive completed all floors on Regret and up to Echelon on Acolyte so it is not impossible to win.

EASILY one of the BEST twinners I've played in QUITE some time. Do NOT let the "players" who haven't figured out the concept of how to use a trigger in a shooting game talk you out of trying this GEM for yourself. Yes, you will be CHALLENGED, but it is one worth taking on. And there is a REASON why you need to use the triggers: because you have two different guns! A light and a heavy, and you'll be switching back and forth between them, and you won't want to be taking your thumb off of the right stick to press some button to make that switch possible. And it's not like a twinner hasn't made us use a trigger to shoot before anyway. Seriously, whining about using a TRIGGER in a SHOOTER. Even if it IS a twinner. Especially that guy "threatening" not to play if his demands aren't met! How's THAT workin' out for ya'? I know the GAMEPLAY hasn't changed a wit.🤡Anyway, incredible game. Not too flashy, not a lot of complex "rooms", not terribly colorful, simple story - but the mechanics! 😘👌
