Knee Deep

The story is pretty good aside from a few holes; it goes where you don't expect it to. While some choices affect your interactions with others, they don't alter the overall outcome; not Telltale quality at all. Few easy "puzzles", no action, only gameplay is pressing one button to advance dialogue, and the characters lack any real depth. It's decent, mainly for the story. I got it on sale, which would be my recommendation.

Try not to fall asleep with dull story telling and equally flat characters. If you're really curious about it just wait for it to be on sale, otherwise I'd pass this title up. I wish I did.

The visuals and animation may have left a bit to be desired, and I didn't hear a single Floridian accent, but this was a story, like Soul Axiom, Late Shift, and the Bunker, that I won't soon forget. And they managed to make me feel like I put my own twist on the narrative, which is what you really hope for from interactive fiction. This is a laid back experience worthy of it's setting and absolutely worth a run through for anyone who likes a quirky story.
