Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

It's one heck of a hack and slash to boot. Slow tutorial to ease you in, easy controls for attacking, and Okami Music to help get the blood flowing. Didn't know what I expected from Capcom and the use of the RE engine of all things, but it's one hell of a good time.

So people will either be amused or nonplussed. I chose to meet the game as it is, not what I've been conditioned to expect. Kinda cool to have an actual new experience in a game, been a while!

Only played for about an hour but what a great start. This game should definitely win an award for its music, that base bg music rivals some of the best RE save room music. Gameplay so far is pretty simplistic but the sheer number of progression rewards keep the gameplay fresh enough. The objective is to clear a stage which then allows you to unlock it as a base where you then repair to make it beautiful again. The game also has a pretty art style with very cool designed monsters. Highly recommend anyone who enjoys hack n' slash to try this out.

Its worth checking out if youre bored of genre overload. Its nice to play a game with a fresh take on something.
