A must play if you plan on getting DA Inquisition.

Leliana's Song from origins had more varried content than this. Inspite of the short runtime it still took half my day due to crashing issues. Beware save often! The story is fantastic, even from playing inquisition. Unfortunately it just plays like a large dungeon that is an integral part of inquisitions plot. The story is summed up in a conversation in inquisition, but still answers some questions. The new enemies are confusing because they don't give them new names. But do offer new challenges, shaking up combat briefly. Side missions are as easily forgettable, as they are easily missable. The characters are 2 dimensional, but serves the plot so it works quite well. Only one memorable puzzle, due to hype and lore but a toddler could solve it. The boss fights are just healing until they fall over. Except the final boss! It keeps you on you toes and breaks the tiring combat cycle SHOULD BE MORE HERE! Or just part of base game. Great final boss and story! Not worth the effort or money.

This dlc is for anyone who was always curious to know about the Hawke family's past.i very much recomend it especially if you like a tough bad guy at the end.if you decide to go at it buy at least 25-30 health potions.if not check out my 4 part video about hawkes family in youtube, type in. The first of DA2's large story DLCs, Legacy takes Hawke on an excursion to a new area, The Vimmark Moutains. Despite it's somewhat short runtime, Legacy actually provides some very interesting content, including a new Class specific weapon for Hawke that can be customized. And even though it's quite linear, Legacy has plenty of secrets to hide. Side quests for new weapons and armor, and a hidden optional boss that is arguably harder than anything else in the game. Just like Dragon Age 2 itself, the story is Legacy's strongest selling point. It's downright excellent, and makes Legacy a must have if you intend on playing Inquisition. You can bring any party member from the base game along with you, but some have more involvement in the story than others, which actually adds some replay value. Legacy may not fix Dragon Age 2's issues, but it doubles down on making it a game that is absolutely worth playing.
