Liberated: Enhanced Edition

Uniqe Storyboardish style of play with a comic issue presentation. Money well spent!

It's a decent game with a well written story. The comic book side scrolling style is a great change from all the open world, first and third person games we have. Gameplay is fun, gunplay is interesting, headshots matter. Puzzles are simple. Some areas are frustrating, trial and error. It's worth it on sale. I got all the achievements.

Barely interactive boring stories

The flow of the game is broken when they force hacking puzzles with no explanation on how they're completed on you

I had high hopes for this game, but it’s just too clunky in its implementation. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, there’s tons and tons of dialogue, and you have to press A after every single sentence, which means that you just end up having to mash the A button to get anywhere. Another oddity to this game is that if a cop notices you, there’s no scene of you getting shot or a screen where it says “you died“—what happens is that the moment that a cop notices you, the game just teleports you back to the nearest checkpoint without notice. It’s just bizarre.
