Lode Runner

I remember playing the original Lode Runner on the Apple ][ in the 80s,. A few more new mechcanics here but still as much fun to play! Myself, I really like the addition of the "puzzle" levels where you really got to think to figure out how to get to the treasure or how to get out.

I began my career as a Lode Runner as a very young child. This game allows me to continue applying my trade, digging permanent resting areas for the evil bad guys while repossessing the gold they stole. The cooperative modes are great, by the way. 🙂

Defo at top where the party is hawtt!!! Wanna play the best? Play the dig fight and the gameboy versions, well worth the chase if you're a true and dedicated LR player. I've had this game for years and I'm still getting pummeled but still shooting for a clean run, it gets real tough but fair, just gotta keep on lodeing & running!~😉 Good Luck and hit me up for co-op, have yet to try it...

It's a nice refreshing take on the arcade of the same name. I do like how you can build your own level and post online. Anyone can download the level design and try to complete it. The is kinda hard,but very addictive. Im glad this one made it over to the X1 😁 A BLAST FROM THE PAST!!!!

I first played this in high school. My friend had the game for Apple II, and he brought it to school and showed it to me on the computer in the school library (it was the 80's... the best time to be a teenager). I was instantly hooked!! Years later, I got it on PC. I also got "Hyper Lode Runner" for GameBoy (although, I played it on the GBA). I bought this for the Xbox 360... and a few years ago, I discovered it was released for the ColecoVision, back in the day - so I bought it (eBay). I love this game!!🥰 There's even a version for smartphones, and it's from Tozai Games.
