Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders

EDIT2: Per title, the camera issue has been fixed!! 3rd person view now up!!-Try this game again, use new cam- plus they fixed\added\changed or otherwise polished A LOT of other stuff in response to our\the players requests and suggestions-its a fantastic game with best dev support ever-enjoy, you're welcome!!

Thought I was going to find a game about Dwarves snowboarding down Erebor, but this is fun too.

I get that the camera angles are part of the challenge but I really wish there was a mode where you could view it from the skier's perspective (in 3rd or 1st person), that would be 4, maybe even 5 stars from me. Like irl, it helps to practice the slopes in Zen mode and I really enjoy that. The challenge mode, however, is too frustrating for me with either camera-based or character-based steering. Lastly, load times are atrocious for such a small game (or are assets being streamed?).

When its behind, the game is stunning. All other angles detract so much from this game. Shame too. Controls are buttery smooth, art direction is fantastic, sounds are crunchy and satisfying. But that camera makes it a hard pass.

The camera angles while trying to navigate makes it difficult for me anyway.
