Lornsword Winter Chronicle

Lornsword does a great job of making a controller easy to use for a rts game. After the tutorial missions, you'll be use to the controls quickly and on your way to building bases, training troops and establishing resources. There are several missions in each chapter to choose from in any order and the difficulty for each one at the start. Gold and food are the resources used for maintaining a base to place buildings to train troops or towers for defense. Buildings also provide upgrades for purchase to give your troops the edge. Achievements aren't too bad as most can be done on easy. Lornsword has the right amount of challenge in its missions to keep it fun and not frustrating. However, the final mission is the toughest by far so be prepared to tinker around with strategies to win. There is voice acting but the awkward tones don't match the dialogue given. Again, Lornsword runs smooth with a controller and zero lag no matter how much activity is on screen. Hopes for a sequel are high.

Fantastic fun. Simple to learn but yet feels epic!

Good game but gets repetetive after a couple days.

I liked it. Extremely dificult towards the end. Spawn soldiers down lanes, scout to see what the enemys strenghts are and plan accordingly. Or try the rambo route. Game makes you use your brain and doesnt hold your hand. I have no complaints. If you like strategy youll like this. Things that would be cool for the sequel.. Add more to the grand scheme of the wars.. Maybe have territory control with benefits/consequences as you progress. A war map with the 3 factions. A perk tree would be dope. More large scale battles. And dare i say... SANDBOX MODE/MAP EDITOR!!!

This is one of my personal favorites now! I hope this game gets more attention in the years to come. I didn't expect a lot when i first got it, but I was pleasantly surprised by the gameplay and story. I think it was well worth the price. Its hard to find a fun and immersive couch co-op game. However I think they did a stellar job of providing both a challenge and just enough lore to capture your attention. Again, I really hope this game will gain a larger following, hopefully leading to more from this title. To the devs: thank you for the hook, now I'm ready for the next chapter! TL;DR: Its fun. Play it.
