Great cast, Beautiful music, Solid story. Designed to be Non Grindy, power comes from learned skills-Magic and yes you'll have to menu dive regularly to keep your entire cast always learning. FYI for newbies 2 of 3 toughest Boss fights are the first 2, the third being optional.

I understand what people mean when they said final fantasy 7 will always be a classic. This game is easily on its level respectfully. Music, storyline, characters, personality, emotions, gameplay, are all 10/10. Played this game 3 times only to do a 4th now. Its like that movie classic or great book you have pick up again.

First off, this is a 'Retro' game, so don't expect top of the line graphics. That being said, holy **** this game has an amazing story. The gameplay is definitely strategic in the first half of the game, but as you get more skills and accessories the game becomes really easy. Seeker of the Deep's boss is unfair and throws all strategy out the window, making it completely RNG, but the satisfaction of taking him out is gratifying. I digress... The game has a lot of text reading and cinematics. The side stories, or '1000 year memories' throws a lot of emotions at the player. This is one of the few games I'll say to others, "Just play it yourself and don't listen to other's opinions." Definitely not a competitive type of game but a must have RPG. The one gripe I have is that in this version of the game the audio will completely go mute during cut scenes, and the background music will get mixed or not play at all during fights or interactive scenes. Kinda takes the fervor out of the moment.

I 100% on my first try, took me almost 2 yrs with samee save file. I only didnt do the DLC part
