Magical Brickout

Brick breaking games are not a genre I care for. There's 2 exceptions, this being one of them. The other is BreakQuest: Extra Evolution (a PS Mini). While there are things that keep it from being great, I am finding it to be a lot of fun and worth it's regular asking price. The rotating mechanic instead of a paddle to move is a big reason why for the fun but not the only reason. It seems that would make this easier but no, makes it harder (messes with my head a bit) but much more fun for it. Maybe after getting used to this it becomes the easier than a paddle to slide. This also has a tad bit of a Peggle feel while playing. I can't put a finger on it yet as to why but that is another reason why I enjoy this one. The way the bricks line things in levels is pretty cool and so are little graphic details like the Home Depot thing (called something else). This has a story, which isn't anything great so far up to where I am and cutscenes aren't so good but still nice that it has this.

Decent game, a little pricy for this game. Easy achiements. A bit challenging and frustrating at times. Storyline is a bit long winded but fun. Has a 80s pinball meets Galaga vibe.

Incomplete. There's 44 achievements for 1,000G. This is a fun game. Challenging and fast pace fun. There's a simple story here. Should've been voice acted.
