Play a wild mix of fun party games as the action regularly switches back and forth between games. Can you handle the switcheroo chaos? Join your friends both on the couch and online while sadistically laughing at their misfortune, or come back to haunt them if you die. Run, jump and slap your way to victory!
I was really excited for this after watching the trailer in the Microsoft store. It looked very similar to party games like Mario Party or perhaps Fuzion Frenzy. Some of the minigames even looked like those from other party games. Unfortunately, it falls terribly short. The game feels small and lacking in variety. I personally thought that jumping between games detracted from the enjoyment, and it came across as a cheap gimmick. The lack of depth and content quickly made things boring.
I really wanted to like this. Unfortunately, it seems there are no good Party style games on Xbox One. At least, nothing like: Mario Party, Wario Ware, Raving Rabbids, Super Monkey Ball, Fuzion Frenzy. I hope eventually we get some good, online party games that can be played with friends and strangers alike. Any of the above mentioned titles (even just remastered, with online play) are great examples.

Needs to be fixed
Game is quite fun with friends when it actually works, however it constantly crashes when trying to sign in multiple people on the same xbox when playing online. Disappointing since this is one of the main advertised features.

What trash...
Another month of complete garbage from xbox live. The version of EDF we got is the shortest and worst of the series, and this marooners game is more indi trash. I love independent titles, but this is awful. This whole year so far (aside from pvz2) has been an insult to us as faithful and dedicated players and consumers. Just look at what psn is doing and you will be as offended and angry as I am. Marooners is no mario party, even though the development team ripped off every concept they could from it. Shame on you Microsoft and shame on the team that made this trash.
