If you're into chill little adventure / puzzle games, you could do a lot worse. Could really use a map system. I have no regrets whatsoever about this purchase. Overall, a charming little game.

Fun if you have coordination and basic reasoning!
MoM doesn't deserve the low review score it has. Throughout the entire game I only needed help with one puzzle (the color one. Hint: Leave the emeralds where they are!) and where the 10th stone mask was (I overlooked it sitting atop a ruin you jump over) while the rest of the game is very forthcoming with intuitive hints.
Is there back-tracking? Yes.
Is there a mini-map? No.
Is the game area consolidated and unique enough to not get lost? Absolutely.
If you played older games like Mist or even Morrowind (yes TES:3 had a minimap but it was trash) then you can EASILY glide through this game. Also there's a sensitivity bar, everything you can interact with has a large white circle waypoint, and combat is easy/forgiving.
Overall, as not usually being into these sorts of games, I really liked it! Get it on sale if you're hesitant and use a guide if you really need to.
If you're the type of gamer that hates modern "yellow paint" games, then prove it by completing Mask of Mists!

Really bad physics in the game, made aiming nearly impossible. Movement and view movement way too fast, you had to hit a tiny circle to interact with obects, hard to do when the camera jumps at the slightest touch. Graphics okay, if somewhat simplistic.

Fun and different
So far it is an entertaining game. I like the small puzzles mixed with action/fighting. The little detail given at the beginning adds to the mysterious nature of the game. I plan on 100% this game. Recommend for your first person view puzzlers/mystery gamers. So i have beaten the game. It was fun but short. Hope game 2 is longer. Good game

Short but sweet
Quick game, good for a few hours of fun. The price is a bit high for what you get, i feel $15 if a bit much for how short it is. Regardless of price the game is quite fun. Some puzzles, some platforming, combat, story, and a lot of exploring. Would definitely recommend it, especially if it ever goes on sale.
