MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries - Rise of Rasalhague

While these are early impressions I'd say I'm pleased so far. I know the devs stance on a Clan scenario so I'll keep my hopes in check, but I'm always down for more mechs, tech and weapons. I just wish we could get more, a lot more! The Crusader is ok but not one I'm into sadly. I was hesitant on starting this up due to the other reviews but I bit the bullet cause I needed some Battletech in my life. No bugs or crashes to report so far. Would I recommend this dlc? Yes if you value QoL improvements but those I think come as a base update, maybe. I haven't tried the new story stuff yet, but not too keen on it. For me the expanded mechbay is wonderful! No more sweating through long multiple mission ops with subpar equipment or not having mechs and weight types buddies enjoy. Having more at the ready has meant I collect more and pulled several out of cold storage and try out certain variants I always had an eye on but wouldn't swap out my tried and true work horses. More mechs plz ❤️😁

love this game keep in mind it starts off very slow trust me give it time Start with the main campaign first and finish it, After the main campain start over in career and bring every mech u collected over to take on the new dlc. Mutli missions have a minimum of 3 lances ready Also (mission stop the lauch) gives u a bad***hero king crab with 4 UAC/5s to melt other mechs armor and (bring her home) a hero victor mech that can hold 2 heavy rifles on one arm head shot galore or twin lbx10s tier5 and ur AI will be constantly throwing lead down wind. Complete the cantna missions they unlock tons of upgrades. This is heavy metal carnage at its finest. Never take on more than u can chew u will regret it or just save before u even agree to a mission if u get completely wrecked reload the game so u dont lose everything Also u can join the chat or discord for help to play 4 player co-op with a headset to help u they are all seasoned mechwarriors so you you can destroy your enemies.

More missons

This expansion is the best. Every aspect is enjoyable. It was so hard I had to change my brawler play style but that made it rewarding.

Finally mechs don't control like tanks!!
