MEGA MAN 9

All 1 star reviews are NOOBS!!!! This game is easy and fun and a very good mega man game. 5 stars Awesome game

Those of us who grew up with MegaMan on the NES were treated to yearly installments on the console from 1987-1993. Six entries total, which all shared a similar format and look before moving on to spin-offs and sequels on other consoles. When MegaMan 9 was released in 2008, it was a nostalgic trip back to the character's roots. Utilizing the familiar formula, graphics and gameplay style established with MegaMan 1-6 (which can be found in the compilation title "MegaMan Legacy Collection" by the way), MegaMan 9 gave original and new fans alike a brand new chapter in the iconic hero's story. Most fans cite MegaMan 2 or 3 as the best, or as their personal favorite of the series. Those two were the pinacle of the series' best offerings, so it should come as little surprise that this title was built with the intent of re-capturing that same lightning in a bottle. To that end, it succeeds magnificently, ranking with the best, and well worth the price of admission.

Mega Man 9 is a good game and is pretty good. Unfortanly the game has a a few tough sections! Despite the difficulty I Reccomend this game a lot and i suggest you play it all the way through! :D

Good ol' Mega Man 9, such an amazing game. Bring back the good ol' NES type of music that is very catchy where I always find myself humming to it during the gameplay, great level design and unique obstacles such as Jewel Man's stage, Wily stage 1, Wily stage 3, etc. Bringing back the feel of unique weapons such as the Black hole bomb, concrete shot, and tornado blow. The game gives almost every weapon a go for the Wily stages and some robot master stages if you want it a little easier. Also, the good ol' crappy box art like the old ones. This is a great "Practice makes perfect" type of game, in other words you will have pretty much no problem after some real tries where they punish you if you mess up which is how games are suppose to be like, suppose to give some challenge, not holding your hand across the whole game. Overall, this game is well worth the $10, if you miss games like this, then you will have a ton of fun with this awesome golden trophy of a platformer. By FighterOfNight

Haven't quite beaten the game yet, partly because of burnout, but also it's a little tougher than I expected. I'm very much loving it so far though. That said, I do think a few of the robot master stages are a bit too difficult as a first stage, the most egregious one being Magma Man. The dragon midboss requires immense precision and near perfect play just to avoid the fireballs, never mind actually hit the dragon. Do Galaxy Man first, he and his stage are so much easier and Black Hole Bomb makes the dragon a cakewalk. There's also a Met in Plug Man's stage in front of some disappearing blocks above spikes, and if you fall it respawns, making for a frustrating experience. It gets a pass though, because Plug Man gives you Plug Ball and I have a very immature sense of humor. xP
