Great games.
Games play great. Absolutely like the originals. Just add X-Command to finish it up.

X5 Was Worth It, The Rest? Well...
X5 - While it was a drop in quality after X4, that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. The bosses were fun, and the soundtrack is amazing.
X6 - I absolutely hate it, the game is absolutely broken (hello Infinity Mijinion and High Max), the only good thing about it is the soundtrack, there is no excusing the developers screwing up.
X7 - Yeah it's bad, but unlike X6 it isn't unfair, and I don't think it's bad all because it's 3D. I genuinely enjoyed fighting Vanishing Gungaroo and Red. The soundtrack slaps, tho.
X8 - All they had to do was make it more like X4, and I guarantee it would've sold well. I wouldn't say it's worse than X6 and X7, but I definitely wouldn't call it better than X1, X2, or even X4. The nicest thing I can say about it is that it's forgettable, but aside from the second phase of the final boss and Gravity Antonion, the bosses are absolutely mediocre. Most of the weapons aren't good. And the soundtrack? Music is subjective, but I honestly don't like X8's soundtrack.
