Middle-earth: Shadow of War Story Expansion Pass

great story love the human mercenaries idea MY BOY TOVIEN IS BACK!!! love it i just love it

The main complaining is about how the humans have no personality, its too hard, that talion wasn't in it. 1. The humans are bland because they are not insane. 2. It warns you about perma-death. 3. Talion at this point is a nazgûl and wouldn't be in the dlc.

Set after Idril and Baranor's departure in Shadow of War, The Desolation of Mordor follows Baranor as he travels into the desert of Lithlad. His goal is to find the Vanishing Sons, a group of mercenaries, to help the remaining Gondorians from Minas Ithil in their fight against Sauron. Although in-game fighting is largely the same, Baranor is mortal and bears no ring, adding an interesting new element to gameplay. To compensate for Baranor's lack of supernatural power, he is provided with a Batman-like grappling hook and a "kite" (similar to LoZ Breath of the Wild). Although the gameplay with these tools is enjoyable, they feel out of place in Middle-earth. I was also somewhat disappointed because Torvin plays such a small and insignificant role in the campaign. Idril is entirely absent from the game. The only explanation for her absence is found in the appendices. Aside from a background tone of political correctness, I did enjoy this DLC. My recommendation though: buy the season pass.

It makes the game more difficult but also has you adapt to your surroundings since you have no ring of power you can't respawn but I am playing on the second hardest difficulty and I think you are more powerful than what people say and think about your character I haven't died at all and I hate it when people say this is to hard and that it makes the dlc bad if you think this is hard then go play darksouls then come back and say this is harder then darksould. Overall I love it.

its a 2 hour dlc i like to take my time and it took 3 hours not good for 20$. however i loved the death mecanic in the main game if i died i just shrugged it off but with this the one time i died it was painful it goes for a dark souls system where when you die you lose everything but story proggress and weapons and skills so i liked it. but there was so much wrong like how idrill isnt present how torvin is in the story for 2 seconds and the time trial scoring just no i wanted to free roam after i finished but instead i dont get. overall 7.5/10 should be like 2 to 6$
