Middle Evil: The Priest

Neat game for price, just wish I could finish night 1 and not crash

The gameplay loop is great. Controls and the swapping of abilities just take some getting used to, imo. Middle Evil's art design mixed with its addicting gameplay remind me of the better flash games of the mid-2000's that I would relax with, after coming home from a long day at school. At only a few bucks, youre getting a fun, challenging and often tense experience that perfectly suits its setting and design, which is why I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

As alread pointed out, the game has a serious bug causing it to crash at the start of a game. The game starts with you walking outside a little then you go in a church where you find yourself fighting a boss after a few minutes of prayer spells & fighting minions. If you die fighting this boss, your Xbox (Series X for me) it's an immediate crash and your console will display the end of animation error message the other reviewer typed out. I have sent an email to Ratalaika support to inform them of it. This seems like a pretty cool game, I'll come back to rate & leave my thoughts when a patch comes that fixes the game.
