Mina The Hollower

"Link's Awakening" and the GBC Zelda games hit my nostalgia directly. This has been on my radar awhile now. Just finished my first playthrough. It's great! A steal at $20. Definitely recommend.

2D Zelda and Castlevania combined into one amazing game.

This is the first time I've ever even heard of Yacht Club Games. But when I caught wind of this game's upcoming release and the endless praise it was already getting, I knew I had to check it out. I am the exact opposite of dissapointed. This game is simply incredible and is the best money I've ever spent on a game. Why would you ever buy $80 dollar AAA slop when Mina The Hollower exists for a crisp $20? If you enjoy Zelda + Dark Souls (and a great story), I think you should try this out, Mr. or Ms. reader of this review. :)

I played a very slim amount of this game, but so far so good. Combat's fun and digging being a dodge and a platforming ability is very unique. World design and the secrets are interesting. No map excluding a world map isn't my cup of coffee, but maybe it'll grow on me? I also had a hard time telling what I could burrow under/jump over, but am of the great spectrum, so it's probably just me.

I just want to support the dev team, and give a message to other devs, bring good games to the platform. Yes, I have a GPU, and yes, I also buy games. Also, this quality of games at 20 bucks, I consider myself the game has a good price already (there is no need for a discount to impulse the sales)... this also happens with other great indies, aka - Hollow and Silksong, Animal Well, Mouse P.I. for Hire, Cuphead, Wizordum... not like Braid Remastered, Binding of Isaac (Re-re-mastered), etc
