Mind Scanners

At first I really didn't understand how the initial, interpretive section worked, and quickly became frustrated before I slowed down and actually bothered to carefully read each prompt. Imagine that. After I got a handle on it, I quickly decided that this was a game that I needed to finish. It's short enough to play through in one sitting. I would definitely recommend this title, especially if you're able to play it via GamePass. Thanks for the ride!

Interesting characters, Small degree of player agency, constantly being poor, working for Big Brother to control people, just a cog in a big churning machine. Very fun, recommend for a free day and a bag of popcorn.

I always wanted to play ''Papers Please'' as a kid but never had anyway to get it. Seeing a sequel to it on gamepass made my day.

This game, where to start... It's 70/80s scifi theme, freakin love it. It's a pretty basic game, but dont get me wrong ,it is challenging. I want to try and get each ending. I only copleted 1 play through so far, but I figured out/ used almost every device. The characters are simple but in a good way. They have depth and are unique. I figurged out late in the game that you can keep their personalities , instead of only wiping their minds. This next play through I'm going to try and actually save their personalities as much as possible. The daily maintenance does add a fun aspect to it, you really need to budget. I wish there were more achivments though, other than just finishing the game different ways. And maybe i missed it but maybe a way to add more time or make travel cost a little less? Over all , i loved it, thanks going to the creators!

I feel that Mind Scanners is great as a game. The game is a bunch of minigames that take some getting used to. There are lots of tools to use if you have the patience to use trial and error to learn how they work. This is encouraged since if you lose, you can just reset the day or go to any day before. The story is told through interactions between characters. If you have a passion for story-driven games or games similar to Papers Please, give this a try
