I understand there's a lot of trolls who call the game just a reskin, MLB The Show 25.5 or just a yearly roster update, and thats just not true. This is MLB The Show 16 version 10. SDS still banking on buyer transactions, neglecting game modes day one, worthless additions to modes if you decided to go pro the first year in RTTS. The game is perfect if you're into micro transactions that none of it go towards the next release. SDS being the egotistical company they are i'm sure they'll get Microsoft or a brainwashed fan to remove this review, Maybe MLB The Show 57 will be a good game

SAVE YOUR MONEY BOYS!
MLB THE S##T SHOW. Online DD gameplay is so scripted & rigged they're not even trying to hide it anymore. Every game you'll notice both teams will have the same runs/hits going the WHOLE game. One person will be throwing dots/hitting perfect hits but, it's the other person who'll get rewarded for doing bad. You have no control over your pitch locations this year. You have to just pray it doesn't go right down the middle & it usually does 😂 It will drop your pitcher/hitters stats in certain situations just to even up the game/give you or your opponet the lead it's gross. Perfect/perfect lineouts happen more than HRs. Instead, your opponet will get rewarded with a early home run not even on the ball 😂 Freeze-offs in the first inning still happen. CO-OP is unplayable. The menu is as slow & glitchy as it's ever been. The pack odds are TRASH all you get are duplicate bronzes 😂 so many things i could mention honestly. !!Save your money!! 0 Stars.

Dont waste your money
This game is literally just a copy and paste of last years. Hitting sucks it doesnt matter how good you are or how many perfect perfects you hit youre still hitting a shallow fly ball to the outfield or hitting a line drive exatcly where someone is standing. Awful Awful Awful game and a complete waste of money. Oh and dont worry this game is still pay to win. If youre a casual gamer who plays for maybe an hour or two a day this is by far the worst game you could choose to play. Save your money I sure wish I couldve saved mine. Just an absoulte money grab.
