Monster Hunter Rise

Just going to leave this here because a ton of people have had issues since the release on game pass, you can be in a lobby and it'll still fail to join missions together. The problem is actually so easy to fix it took me almost 2 hours to figure it out, everyone has to be online and appearing online, if any one has there profile set to appear offline it will fail to join mission sessions every time. Hope this helps people to play with friends, plz up vote so people can see.

Read above, they're easier

this games distracts me from my depressing life and takes my mind off the constant beatings I get from my wife, by mercilessly having monsters beat my *** instead, and only winning by "getting good". 10/10 would recommend

No clue why the bad ratings. So far its amazing. My only complain is that its hard. But i might just be too old and can't react fast enough, plus a hand injury prevents me to get better. I'll enjoy the ride until its time to throw the controller when i can't beat the game hahaha. Sigh..too bad there is not an easy for injured folk mode. Anyway. Amazing game so far.

If you're a veteran attempting to get new players into Monster Hunter don't overwhelm them with all the gimmicks. I was recently able to get my gf into MH and she was very vocal about how she felt overwhelmed at first. Just let then click through all of the dialogue let them pick a "cool weapon" and make sure they grab their first quest from the village. Gf tried 3 weapons before she found the dual blades and never looked back. We just hit high rank and she just now learned about sending buddies on hunts and sending out the argosy. Just let them do their own thing and answer questions they might have as you go along.
