Monster Train 2

update: After a week I can say, this is an amazing sequel. The longer you play, the more unlocks, and there are seriously awesome new factions to play as, plus some surprises that will blow you away with how cool they are. Keep playing!! To those upset about bosses being too hard: Wait and see how powerful you can become by unlocking new factions, cards, artifacts, etc, and what seems hard will be too easy. You have to keep playing for this game to reach its potential. Had no idea this was coming out! Was still playing the first one, even playing just last night. Christmas has come early for sure. What a great surprise!

I've sunk hundreds of hours into Monster Train 1. On Steam, I put nearly as many hours into Monster Train 2 alpha and beta testing -- and it hits the same sweet spot as the first. What I didn't know is that it was coming to Game Pass, so that is a nice surprise. If you like roguelike deckbuilders, I cannot recommend both Monster Trains enough. The sequel has some updated mechanics and visuals, but plays very similarly to the first, which is a very good thing. Definitely try this out and join me as you lose 500+ hours to trying new strats each run attempt.

Thought game was glitched on eyeball boss hp was one but hes got a special ability. Cant wait to unlock other clans and try different combos. Will spend hours on this game like the fist one.

If STS got me in (well, darkest dungeon technically) MT1 really got me into the genre. I cant believe this came outta nowhere like an Rko . I got a raging clue. EDIT: ARE YOU KIDDING???!!!!THEYRE ALL HERE what an even cooler thing that happens after u beat the game 6 times. Im in disbelief. Devs traaaamend thx.

It has stacks on it to ignore lethal damage multiple time and gets more when it moves up a floor i think it should be nerfed a bit how many stacks it has but its not invincible just need some multi hit maby and accualy pay attention to what effects enemys have on them other wise good game perhap harder than the last edit:i was able to beat it pretty easy in my second run
