Morphite

When I was a kid playing DOS games in the 80s this is what I thought the future of games would look like. This is the amazing future we all wanted. Texture maps came along and destroyed that dream one giant rectangle at a time... but now, here in the future, we can correct the mistakes of the past and live in the world we never had!!! Addictive, fun, and the right price! Wish it was play anywhere!

No micro tran$action$, no DLC. Single player. A low poly count "No Man's Sky", minus the hype and promises and few less features. Also a mobile port. If you felt you missed out because you don't own a PS4, this game is for you. Same idea, has a story. Explore, scan, collect, fight, upgrade. Mini games. Okay voice acting, music can be a bit grating at times, budget sound fx. It all works together, though. $15 seems fair. Found a few bugs that halt progress and force you to reload mission checkpoint in hopes it corrects itself.

I am about an hour in. I am enjoying the story and gameplay. I understand the minimalist design but I think the game could really use at least more detail especially in the facial designs. I would love to see this game with graphics at least on par with No Mans Sky. It is more fun than I ever had with that game but it could use some more digital spit and polish.

Great game. It's nice and simple but intriguing and unique, interesting story, decent soundtrack, there's much to do; exploration, side quests, combat, solving puzzles, scavenging, etc. It's not perfect but for 15 bucks, it's worth it.

i was so upset with no mans sky...this is better
