Mutant Football League - Complete Bundle

Pure arcade football madness!

First off it's a work in progress with a good foot hole to climb from. I've loved the original football and hockey games this one is modeled after, as well as the cartoon. I'm loving the game it controls decent especially for being a game preview. There is some team balancing issues, but if you can't win...CHEAT! Like I said the youngster playing MLF on genesis is cheesing really hard. It will take some time to really make this shine, I wish the developers the best of luck on this endeavor. My only complaint is no player editor, while i love all the pun-tastic names and joke names for real players. It doesnt feel right without Bones Jackson.

I grew up on the Sega Genesis and Mutant League Football as a kid. For over 20 years I've dreamed of a reboot. Needless to say, when I heard about MFL, I was excited but skeptical. Would it ruin my nostalgic memories with a crappy spiritual successor or would it take me back to the glory days of blood, death and football? From the second I started playing my first game, I felt like I was playing authentic Mutant League Football all over again. All the blood, guts, and gore that I remember have been brought to 2018. Still an easy to pick up and play arcade football experience but even more depth and detail to the character and team parody aspects. And even more game modes, teams and mutant races to be added in the future. MFL has quickly earned a spot in my favorite Xbox One games list. Now to jump back in and slaughter some more mutants on the way to my first Mutant Bowl championship trophy in over 20 years!

Its sad that a parody football game is the best football game available. Couch play is amazing. Set the quarters to 7 mins, set the carnage to weenie, and set the dirty plays to off for a pretty good simulation game. My bro and i love it.

This game really takes me back to the old Genesis/EA version. It is a refreshing change of pace and style of Madden's annual. It's fun, quick and easy to pick up and play. Teams are heavily unbalanced currently and the game is very difficult (almost "cheatie" type turnovers and cpu weighted AI) at higher difficulties. QB sacks are near impossible, but happen to me constantly. Currently my season will not save, either. I would like to see more hazards on the fields and the halftime show as optional. Passing system could be tweaked to be more user friendly.
