Mystik Belle

This a fantastic game, both mechanics and charming story alike. Very easy to get the hang of, and very reminiscent of early side-scrollers. The story is fitting of the mechanics and very fun to play through, high recommend it to all types of gamers!

Wayforward giving us another sidesrolling gem! In time for Halloween too 👻👻👻👍👍👍👍!!!!

A fine blend of Metroidvania action and point and click adventure puzzles. The love child of Castlevania: SotN and Monkey Island. The art style is fluid and gorgeous and the music is catchy. Worth every penny.

This game is Very much like: Magical Quest (SNES) Plus Astal on Saturn, and a Metroidvania World. Playing as a cute Witch, some of these enemies will suprise you with their attacks! 😂 There needs to be MORE games like this!

This game is a hybrid between a Metroidvania(one of my favorite generes) and a point and click adventure game. You get items and combine them, or use them to get other items to solve in game problems fairly often. Review based on a hard mode play through. Positives: Beautiful 2D sprite graphics and music. Wayforward pretty much always deliver on this end. Great dialogue, you can take most any item to any character in the game and you will get a unique response. Neutrals: There is a bunch of items that you don't use at all and you have limited item holding capacity(hard mode only?). The game is SHORT, most people will beat this in 5 hours(the game has a beat in 1 hour achievement.) The game is easy even on hard mode. Negatives: There is only one real secret area in the game. No secret rooms behind walls or anything like that. You do not heal at teleport rooms(hard mode?). and have to kill stuff endlessly to heal. The final boss battle is garbage.
