NanoApostle
PQube · Fighting · Action & adventure
NanoApostle is a dark sci-fi boss rush game with intense reaction-based combat and the unique "Destruction Point" system. Play as Anita, a child augmented with lethal nanomachines, as she battles against twisted cybernetic experiments to escape a top-secret facility.
The combat is simple yet really fun, the graphics are beautifully crafted for what it wanted to be, and the story...
this is the first game to make me cry real tears with the ending. Its a boss rush at heart but the story and characters are soooo good and emotionally charged.
Its a very short game though, not much bosses but its still very fun and I would highly recommend it for anyone, even if you arent familiar with the genre. The bosses are challenging yet not unfair and the progression system is very well balanced. On a scale of 1-10 its an 11. If you have the money, go play it now!!!

Short, sweet, and challenging
Finished it in the span of a day and im thoroughly satisfied. It's a boss rush with a handful of fights that each feel unique. Challenges and bonus levels offer extra goals for completionists. If your able to get down parry and dodge timings then the fights start to feel like dances with how smooth the combat flow is, especially the last boss. The story is simple yet touching, each cutscene and bit of dialogue being short and still conveying plenty of raw emotion. As well as all the little movements of the characters outside the cutscenes. Arts beautiful and never tiring to look at. I can't adequately describe how perfect the music is. It enhances each fight so much and further adds to that feeling of dancing instead of fighting. To top it all off you can "press Y to hug", absolute cinema, 10/10 game, zero regrets.
