NBA 2K26 Superstar Edition

If you want to genuinely hoop. Go physically play at a hoop near you. For those who want to understand 2k's motives, I will explain. We are not viewed as "gamers" anymore. We are now considered and classified as High-low potential profit consumers. Those who spend the most money are the most valued. Those who have a high following but only stream the game twice a month are second in line to have an opinion. Last, are those of us with jobs and lives outside of 2k. We are not of any value in their eyes unless we're big spenders aka "whales". 2k will not change because we keep buying VC and the next game. Cheaters are considered high value because, if they do get banned, they will have 3 more accounts with maxed builds they also paid for. Their logic: Let cheaters and meta abusers destroy casual competition, so they can continue to fill their bank accounts with underserved money. Then because of mass purchase amounts, blast spending as an engagement metric.

Solid, they removed the RNG factor, gave more ways to get VC, and added some other dope features. I would have to say my biggest complaint is the on ball defense. It seems almost non existent. Way too easy to blow by, and it's difficult to get a decent contest on a 3 unless you play picture perfect defense. Just to add on to that, even if you do play perfect defense, you'll still probably get scored on quite a bit. I'm hoping for some sort of patch on that soon, but I still doubt it will be fully patched any time in the immediate future. Solid game none the less. However if you're considering buying it now, I recommend either waiting on a sale, or a reliable patch. Hope this review will help someone out, and I hope you enjoy the game.
