Next Up Hero

I got this game for free with game pass, I read most of the reviews on it and can honestly say I agree with most of what others are saying. However I disagree with a few... The story does come off a bit cliche at times, but not terrible. People complain the gameplay is repetitve... what did you expect? It's a Dungeon Crawler, they are all repetitive! The lag does get a bit annoying at times, but doesn't become game-breaking like others make it sound. As for the difficulty curve I have this to say: In the words of Dark Souls "GIT GUD!" Now I will admit this game isn't worth $20 and for anyone who doesn't have Game Pass wait til it goes on sale. That being said, I Give it a 4 out of 5. Pros: Fun, challenging. Cons: Lag at times, Mediocre Story and Repetitive Game Play. Note: Maybe wait for future patches?

Would be better without lag and the ability to INVITE YOUR FRIENDS OR AT LEAST HAVE A FUNCTIONING SEARCH TO FIND THEM. It is not worth the money, with or without gamepass, until it is patched. Neat concept though, at least you tried, DC.

I can't even get past the start up menu. it says "Press A to start" and i press it and nothing happens. Tested it with both of my controllers and still nothing so it's not my controllers. I even force closed the game and booted it back up but it still wouldn't start. Glad i got the game for free through game pass but i expect games that actually work, Microsoft!

Looks nice, plays well. Has replayability. Definitely have to grind(not a con, unless you want pay2win,noobs). Co-op needs to be polished. i guess you cant inv friends? Big developer mistake. Is a bit too repeatative, in gameplay and terrain. if you have game pass, try it! ps can glitch on portals. crash on level creator when adding multipliers

The game lags every second causing man frustrating deaths. You also have no choice to play solo, you are forced to play online with others. Hitboxes need to be fixed since numerous aimed attacks went through enemies. Not even worth being on game pass let alone 20 US dollars.
