NINJA GAIDEN 3: RE

As of 10/15/2024 the servers for Ninja Trials and Shadows of the World are still up but its rare to find a lobby but i play daily so hit me!

2024 still playing. I wish they could make a new one not a remake but a brand new one story and all! He would look bada$$ on one X! (XB5 😁)

They fixed the garbage original version. Like REALLY fixed it. In many ways the combat feels more brutal than NG2! Really cool. Has a few frustrating boss fights, but overall an excellent action-adventure!

Ninja Gaiden 3 was a broken, at times unplayable mess. Razor's Edge improves on almost everything. The game is actually optimized so slowdowns are now rare, delimbing and Obliterations are back, you can charge UTs, you now have every Ninpo and all but 2 melee weapons from NG2, Steel on Bone was changed to a special attack against certain grabs, kuni climb was made far faster and more responsive, bosses now have health bars and no longer randomly stop taking damage, each level has scarabs to collect and a crystal skull challenge mission, and there's now a proper upgrade system and costumes. There are also 2 new story chapters where you play as Ayane and you can also play as Momiji and Kasumi in chapter select. Despite these improvements, it's still not as good as Black or 2, plus no Vigoorian Flails, Tonfa, and Rachel's absence are huge marks against the game. Still pretty good though.
